The International Museum Day

The 18th of May is the International Museum Day.
That day I was invited at one of Russian Moscow Universities to open the exposition about count and countess Musin-Pushkin and about palace, where they lived.
I played the role of countess Ekaterina Alekseevna Musina-Pushkina.
She was the prototype of Anna Pavlovna Scherer from one of the greatest novel in the world "War and Peace" written by count Leo Tolstoy. We meet her at the 1st page of it.

The old cast-iron stairs presented to the Univesity by father of Russian famouse Maecenas Savva Morozov in 19 century.











During the War against Napoleon Bonnapart in 1812 the hospital for French soldiers was in this palace.
